Any help comparing OneNote's capabilities to Evernote in this respect, would be extremely helpful! Any info from folks who have used this would be brilliant! Thx so much! :) I've used both EN (premium) & ON a little bit maybe 2 years ago so am a little familiar with both but this was before all the EN changes that were so unpopular & any recent improvements for either.

I've searched but can't confirm the info I need to know about either ON or EN and I also don't know what improvements may have been implemented in the last couple of years on both. I have lots to scan and am stumped by the time tedious renaming would take (even with text expander software, etc).

I need some system or setup that's better than what I have now so to finally make the switch to paperless. I'm trying learn just how good (or otherwise) are Evernote & OneNote's abilities to OCR PDFs, images, documents, other files, etc? Specifically, for locating scanned or saved docs/files/images/info/data later on via search without investing hours of time organizing notebooks, sections, and (re)naming scanned/saved files. I'm trying to finally go completely paperless after serious health issues have slowed the project significantly.
